Reverie Barn is a beautifully converted barn set high in the hills above Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road. Designed for couples, families or groups, this spacious home offers sweeping ocean views, rolling countryside scenery and a peaceful connection with nature.

With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the barn comfortably accommodates larger groups while still feeling warm and inviting. The main living areas open through large glass doors, creating a seamless indoor–outdoor flow and framing dreamy coastal and countryside outlooks.

Relax in your private infrared sauna after beach days, waterfall hikes or scenic Great Ocean Road drives. Gentle heat helps ease tired muscles, reduce stress and support deep rest.

Inside, warm timber interiors, generous living areas and a cosy fireplace create the perfect setting for gathering together. Enjoy multiple dining areas – perfect for long lunches, shared dinners or relaxed breakfasts with a view. The fully equipped kitchen makes group cooking easy, while the freestanding bath offers a moment of quiet indulgence. A full laundry with washing machine and dryer is ideal for longer stays or coastal adventures.

Step outside to soak up rolling countryside surrounds, abundant birdlife and, if you're lucky, local koalas. Watch wedge-tailed eagles soar overhead as you settle into the peaceful rhythm of nature.

The entire home runs on rainwater, filtered through a Puretec whole-house system, so all water – for drinking, showering and bathing – is clean, fresh and beautifully soft.

If you’re booking as a couple, this gives access to all of the downstairs areas - 1 x Queen bedroom, full open living/dining space with wood fire and sauna, kitchen, main level bathroom with bath and shower, and outdoor shower. The upstairs area (3 additional bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom) is only accessible when booking for 3+ people.

Guests have exclusive access to the barn and its immediate surrounds, ensuring complete privacy throughout your stay. There is another house on the property nearby, however this area is not accessible to guests and we kindly ask that you respect this space.

You’ll enjoy your own private outdoor areas around the barn, with sweeping countryside and ocean views and plenty of space to relax in peace.

• While we’re just 11 minutes from Apollo Bay town centre, the barn is set in a peaceful countryside location and does not receive council rubbish collection. Guests are kindly asked to remove their rubbish at the end of their stay. Clear instructions are provided in the house guide.

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please note fencing is not dog-secure and sheep graze nearby, so dogs must be supervised at all times and kept off beds and soft furnishings.

• Exterior security cameras are located at the front and back entrances only, for safety purposes.

• Check-in is via key safe for easy self check-in.

Well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome inside the house. Please note that there are sheep and wildlife on the property that the dogs must not chase.

PRICING
All pricing is based on the amount of guests staying, and beds/bedrooms used. Please ensure you book for the correct amount of guests, and confirm how many beds/bedrooms you will be requiring during your stay, so that we have accurate booking information prior to your arrival.
